Visitor Information

Parking

Parking is available in our parking area around the facility.

Cafeteria

The MCN Cafeteria is located on the first floor of the hospital. The cafeteria offers a variety of entrées for breakfast, lunch and dinner, as well as sandwiches, soups, wraps, and desserts. The cafeteria is open during the following hours for guests and visitors: 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Monday – Sunday

Waiting Areas

Medical Center of Newark has several waiting areas for visitors. On the second floor is a small waiting/meditation room. There are also waiting areas in the main lobby and in the Outpatient Surgery area. Once a patient is prepared for surgery, up to two visitors at a time may sit with the patient until the time of surgery.

Vending Machines

There are vending machines in the cafeteria, available 24 hours a day, with a variety of snacks and soft drinks.

Visiting Hours

The visiting hours at MCN are 10:00 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. every day. All inpatients have private phone lines in their rooms.

Language Interpretation Services

When needed, interpretation services are provided for patients who don’t speak English. Please contact your nurse for assistance with obtaining a language interpreter.
